An OSI Monarch/ AspenTech ADMS Functional Resource  is a specialist who bridges the gap between utility business operations and the technical implementation of the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) software. Their primary role involves analyzing business requirements, defining functional specifications, and ensuring the ADMS solution aligns with the utility's needs for grid management, reliability, and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders (operators, engineers, IT, planning) to understand current as-is processes and define future to-be functional requirements and workflows for the ADMS, including Outage Management (OMS) and Distribution Management (DMS) functions.

System Configuration & Implementation Support:

Integration Coordination: Ensure seamless integration between the ADMS and other enterprise systems such as GIS (Geospatial Information Systems), AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure), ERP, and DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems).

Process Improvement & Change Management: Provide expertise on utility operations, business processes, and industry best practices to recommend solutions and guide clients through the change management required for adopting new technologies.

Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and provide user support and training for system operators, engineers, and field personnel.

Troubleshooting & Support: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to resolve functional issues and defects during implementation and post-go-live support phases (hypercare). 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

Significant experience typically 7+ years in the electric utility industry, with a focus on grid modernization, operations, and control systems (SCADA, OMS, DMS).
Proven experience participating in or leading full lifecycle ADMS implementation projects.
OSI Monarch/ AspenTech experience is must
