Job Overview:
The IT Project Manager III is responsible for maintaining information technology strategies by managing staff, researching, and implementing technological strategic solutions. This role ensures the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Direct technological research by studying organizational goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
- Complete projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and the data center.
- Verify application results by conducting system audits of implemented technologies.
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures, as well as information security and control structures.
- Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Stay current on state-of-the-art practices to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the IT industry, including development work and customer interaction.
- PMP Certification.
