Job Details

As a Dynamics CRM Developer with DRA expertise, you will be responsible for the end-to-end configuration and customization of the Document Routing Agent to support high-volume, automated printing scenarios such as generating warehouse labels, invoices, or checks. You will ensure that the cloud environment can securely communicate with on-premises network printers across multiple legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • DRA Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain the Document Routing Agent as a Windows service or desktop application on local servers.
  • Network Printing Orchestration: Register and manage network printers within Dynamics 365 Organization Administration to enable direct printing from the cloud.
  • Custom Reporting & Output: Design and modify SSRS reports and custom ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) labels for advanced warehouse or manufacturing needs.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve complex routing issues, such as document spooling failures, certificate expiration for Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Adobe Reader scaling conflicts for precision documents like checks.
  • Maintenance & Updates: Regularly update the DRA to match the latest Dynamics 365 release to prevent document loss or performance degradation.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure DRA settings align with internal IT General Controls (ITGCs) and Segregation of Duties (SOD), especially when handling sensitive output.

Technical Skills Required

  • Dynamics 365 Ecosystem: Deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or Customer Engagement (CE) modules.
  • Infrastructure & OS: Proficiency in Windows Server (2019/2022) management, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) authentication, and network protocol troubleshooting.
  • Development Tools: Experience with C#/.NET for custom workflow activities and X++ for Finance & Operations extensions.
  • Document Technologies: Strong understanding of PDF spooling, Adobe Acrobat Reader configuration, and ZPL for industrial label printing.
  • Authentication: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) tenant configuration and token management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer or relevant Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience: 3+ years in Dynamics 365 development with a track record of implementing automated printing solutions in warehouse or manufacturing environments
