Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

TEKsystems is actively seeking an experienced Lead Travel Technician to join our team for nationwide commercial projects. This is a high-impact role for a self-motivated technician who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to lead small teams on-site.
What You'll Do
As a Lead Technician, you will:
- Lead 1-3 technicians on commercial job sites across the country.
- Install, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling, security cameras, and related infrastructure.
- Work with structured telecom cabling, fire alarm systems, and other low-voltage systems.
- Interpret blueprints and build cable pathways that avoid obstructions and electrical hazards.
- Mount and test access points, cameras, access panels, and fire alarm hardware.
- Build and install server racks and ensure all systems are tested and operational.
What You Bring
- Expert-level experience in low-voltage installations.
- Strong knowledge of Cat5, Cat6, coax, and fiber cabling.
- Familiarity with NEC codes for low voltage.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Must provide your own hand tools, cordless drills, and punch tools.
