BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Dayforce Payroll Consultant in Remote
Position Title: Workday Dayforce Payroll Consultant
Location: Remote
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Pay rate: $60/hr to $65/hr on W2
Expected Duration: 6 months with possibilities for conversion or extension
Job Type: Contract: 40 hrs/week
Job Description:
Basic Qualifications
- Dayforce Payroll Consultant with experience in implementing Dayforce Payroll and collaborating with Workday integration teams.
- The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation of Dayforce Payroll, including configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live support.
- The role also requires working closely with Workday teams to align and build necessary interfaces between the two systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the implementation of Dayforce Payroll, including configuration, parallel testing, cutover, and stabilization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate payroll business requirements.
- Work closely with the Workday integration team to ensure accurate and timely exchange of employee data (e.g., PECI/CCW files).
- Support or oversee the development of Workday-to-Dayforce integrations including demographic, compensation, and time data flows.
- Participate in data mapping, validation, and UAT activities across systems. Identify and resolve data discrepancies, payroll processing errors, and interface issues.
- Create and maintain configuration documentation, test cases, and support guides.
- Act as a liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to ensure a smooth implementation experience.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and stabilization assistance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Payroll implementation, with at least 2 years in Dayforce Payroll.
- Experience in Workday integrations such as PECI, CCW, or custom payroll outbound files.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing cycles, taxation, earnings/deductions, and regulatory compliance (US or multi-country if applicable).
- Hands-on experience with Dayforce Integration Studio, XML/JSON, and SFTP-based file exchanges.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dayforce Payroll Certification Workday HCM/Integration
- knowledge or certification
- Experience with ADP, SAP, or Kronos systems is an advantage
Background in managing integrations in complex IT landscapes (middleware, SFTP servers, APIs)
