Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Reliability Engineer, you will:
1. Oversee the daily operations of power plants and ensure their efficient and reliable performance.
2. Implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance the reliability and longevity of power plant equipment.
3. Identify, analyze, and resolve reliability issues related to power plant machinery and equipment.
4. Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and safety of power plant operations.
5. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop and implement reliability strategies and solutions.
6. Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of power plant equipment and systems.
7. Provide technical support and guidance in troubleshooting and resolving equipment failures and operational issues.
8. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of reliability activities, findings, and recommendations.
9. Train and mentor staff on reliability best practices, procedures, and techniques.
10. Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in power plant operations and reliability engineering.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Reliability Engineer position, you must have:
1. A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant operation and maintenance.
3. Proven experience in implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Strong knowledge of reliability principles, practices, and techniques.
5. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to power plant operations and reliability engineering.
9. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
10. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
