Job Details

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Strong working knowledge of the Android Bluetooth platform.
In-depth understanding of the Android framework and proficiency with ADB commands.
Solid skills in log triage and root cause analysis.
Hands-on experience with Bluetooth testing, including Bluetooth profiles and protocol analysis using tools such as Ellisys tool.
Utilize the Ellisys Bluetooth Analyzer to capture, analyze, and debug Bluetooth traffic, identifying communication issues such as packet errors, protocol mismatches, and latency problems.
Generate detailed reports based on log analysis for debugging and optimization.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Bluetooth BR/EDR and BLE technologies, profiling Bluetooth communication, analyzing logs, and troubleshooting connectivity failures.
Triage logs from Android Bluetooth stacks and utilize Ellisys logs for precise debugging.
Good command of Linux and Python.
Ability to analyze business functions and derive comprehensive test scenarios, including positive, negative, regression, upgrade, and UAT testing.
Strong experience in writing and executing test scenarios and test cases based on functional requirements.
Thorough understanding of the defect life cycle, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Familiarity with various testing methodologies.
Knowledge of test automation using Python is a plus.
Demonstrates a solid functional and domain understanding of the current project.
Willingness and ability to learn and work with various testing tools and adapt to new tools/technologies as required by the project.
