Contract to Hire

Location: Washington, DC (hybrid 3 days onsite)

*This person will have to be processed for a DOJ public trust if they don t have one, which can take 3-4 months right now*

Technical Skills (Experience with):

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Instructional Designer to join our team supporting a federal agency in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, animation, and graphic design, with the technical skills to develop engaging and effective learning experiences specifically for a federal agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create effective and engaging learning experiences tailored to the needs of federal employees.
  • Develop animated content to enhance the visual appeal and understanding of training materials.
  • Utilize tools like Adobe Illustrator for graphic design and Adobe Animate for animations.
  • Create three-dimensional graphics and models to enrich the learning content.
  • Design and develop interactive e-learning content using Storyline 360.
  • Apply CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and responsive design to ensure the training platform is visually appealing and functional.
  • Design visual elements to make the training engaging and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Incorporate game-like elements to enhance motivation and learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience in digital learning design or a related field.
  • ship and the ability to pass Public Trust clearance
  • -Proficiency in instructional design and creating engaging learning experiences.
  • -Experience in developing animated content.
  • -Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Animate.
  • -Experience with 3D design tools.
  • -Proficiency in Storyline 360 for interactive e-learning content development.
  • -Strong web development skills, including CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • -Expertise in graphic design.
