Job TITLE: Senior Drupal Web Designer

Location:- 100% Remote from within Wisconsin. (The candidate must be a current resident of Wisconsin.)

    • CLIENT LOCATION: 125 S. Webster St, Madison, Wisconsin, 53703

START / END: 11/24/25 to 06/30/2026, with a reasonable possibility of a multi-year extension. The state cannot post any job beyond the end of the current fiscal year (June 30, 2026, in this case). So, while many jobs at the state can run for multiple years, they are all capped at the start of the current fiscal year (and must be renewed each fiscal year).

Contract

  • Feel free to share with me candidates if they, at a minimum, meet most of the criteria below:
  • 3-5 years of experience with Adobe, Drupal, DocuSign, Microsoft Forms, or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience with accessibility in Forms and web content
  • 3-5 years of experience in web development and management of high-traffic websites
  • 3-5 years of experience with Drupal 10

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Hands-on testing and troubleshooting of custom modules, themes, and content objects
  • Strong collaborative skills

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

  • seeking a Senior Web Designer to support high-profile projects involving accessibility for web and form content.
  • The contractor will work closely with customers and the communications team to meet accessibility requirements and ensure compliance with DPI standards. The position will involve development, management, and enhancement of high-traffic Drupal websites, including collaborative planning for new sites or improving existing platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development and management of web and form content using best practices, including ADA compliance and modern HTML/CSS standards.
  • Providing customer-centric technical support across communication channels.
  • Troubleshooting and supporting formatting, functionality, usability, and accessibility issues.
  • Publishing and maintaining documentation such as design standards, style guides, formatting, font, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Supporting Drupal-based websites and electronic form tools like Adobe, Microsoft Forms, or DocuSign.
  • Collaborating with communications and IT teams to provide design frameworks and solutions.
  • There are two high-profile accessibility-focused projects associated with this role.
