Role Overview
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support the NGI program within an Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) environment. In this role, you will help ensure complex missile defense systems are correctly assembled, integrated, tested, and delivered-working hands-on with hardware, procedures, and multidisciplinary teams.

This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in high-impact environments, enjoys translating requirements into real-world execution, and is motivated by seeing advanced technology move from concept to operational reality.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Execute integration and test activities within an Assembly, Integration, and Test environment to verify system performance and readiness
Create, develop, and maintain test procedures that support system integration and vehicle delivery
Support documentation control, configuration tracking, release processes, and government submittals
Coordinate daily integration and test activities across multiple internal and external disciplines
Obtain certification and perform duties as a Certified Test Conductor / Test Engineer, supporting system integration and verification efforts

Work Environment
Hands-on engineering environment supporting hardware integration and test operations
Work performed in laboratory, manufacturing, and test facilities
Fast-paced, mission-critical setting requiring collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams
Occasional presentations to senior leadership and government customers
Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in all activities

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must meet all requirements below to be considered.
Active Interim Secret security clearance required prior to start
Experience in, or strong willingness to learn, Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) operations
Experience in, or willingness to learn, writing and executing test procedures in an Assembly, Test, Launch Operations (ATLO), or production environment
Prior experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
Willingness and ability to present technical information to senior customers and Lockheed Martin executives

Desired skills

These "nice-to-have" skills strengthen candidacy but are not required.
Prior certification as a Certified Test Conductor, Certified Principal Engineer, or industry equivalent
Experience with, or willingness to learn, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
Background testing weapon systems in a production or operational environment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and requirements
Experience in or adjacent to manufacturing engineering or test engineering, including hardware integration and test flows
Proven success working on cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams
Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space systems tools (e.g., SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, PMP Database, Automation Framework) or similar industry tools
Hands-on experience with basic laboratory equipment (power supplies, multimeters, signal analyzers, etc.)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with customers, program leadership, and engineering teams

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
