RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - PLM for a remote opportunity with a large organization in the Kansas City, MO area.
Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer - PLM will support the Product Lifecycle management technology platform. In this role, they will be a critical decision-maker responsible for developing and implementing business product requirements into the solution. They will lead the work to deliver new capabilities and optimize the Product Lifecycle management process, serving as the subject matter expert working collaboratively with external technology partners and internal agile teams to deliver best-in-class solutions within the technology platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as the right candidate will provide technical expertise and ensure the delivery of top-notch solutions within the environment while maintaining Agile principles and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
* Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement Product Lifecycle management solutions (Flex-PLM) according to Product specifications and knowledge of flexconnect is a bonus
* Developing customizations and integrations to enhance the functionality of our Product Lifecycle management solution
* Working in the retail industry and with Item/Product data
* Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery
* Conducting system testing and validation to ensure the quality and integrity of the solutions
* Preparing technical documentation, including system designs, deployment plans, and user guides
* Staying up to date with the latest product features and industry best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree and 4 years of professional work experience
* Experience in technology systems administration, software development, or technical role
* Knowledge of software development processes, backlog management, and requirements translation
* Experience with collaboration and discovery and stakeholder alignment across cross-functional teams
* Experience with JavaScript, Java, JSP, HTML and/or C# working .net framework
* Experience working with Middleware solutions and data movements for interfaces between various enterprise systems
Preferred:
* 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools (ADO, Jira, Trello, etc.) to manage projects effectively
* Experience in Product Lifecycle Management applications
* Deep understanding of data relationships to enable System-to-System performance and accuracy
* Familiarity with application testing, debugging and analysis of issues
* Strong technical acumen and familiarity with software development processes, programming languages, data analytics, or other technical domains relevant to the product are highly desirable
* Strong technical skills to interpret and analysis data using SQL
* Proven background in collaboration and creative problem solving to deliver upon business objectives
* Exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to influence and align stakeholders are crucial for success
* The ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration across departments is highly preferred
* Ability to manage competing priorities and a high volume of initiatives at one time
* MF experience/working knowledge or modernization of legacy technologies would be a plus
* Proactively prioritize the work and manage expectations
* Curious and initiative-taker

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
