The Endpoint Security Administrator is responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, and optimization of Trellix security solutions across the organization's IT infrastructure. This role ensures that endpoint security, threat detection, and response tools are functioning effectively and align with organizational cybersecurity policies. The Endpoint Security Administrator works closely with cybersecurity teams, system administrators, and IT operations to proactively monitor threats, investigate incidents, and maintain a secure environment.

The Endpoint Security Administrator is responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, and optimization of Trellix security solutions across the organization's IT infrastructure. This role ensures that endpoint security, threat detection, and response tools are functioning effectively and align with organizational cybersecurity policies. The Endpoint Security Administrator works closely with cybersecurity teams, system administrators, and IT operations to proactively monitor threats, investigate incidents, and maintain a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and other Trellix products.
- Manage policy creation, deployment, and updates across enterprise endpoints and servers.
- Monitor security dashboards and alerts to identify and respond to threats in real time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to endpoint agents, policy compliance, and product performance.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to support incident response and forensic investigations.
- Generate reports on compliance, threat activity, and system performance for stakeholders.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure platform upgrades and patches are implemented promptly.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Trellix solutions and provide user support and training as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years' experience administrating Trellix
- Active IAT Level II certification or IAM Level I or IASAE Level I certification required
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of ePO architecture, deployment strategies, and policy enforcement.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and data loss prevention practices.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell), Windows/Linux administration, and SIEM integration is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Trellix/McAfee Certified Product Specialist, Security+) are preferred.
