Project Overview:

  • In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the acquisition of new enterprise customers and developers on Client s Cloud. You will own the narrative, positioning, and value proposition for our Cloud Observability portfolio, designed to help organizations understand, monitor, and optimize their complex, distributed applications. Your mission is to elevate the story of how Client s Cloud Observability empowers businesses to ensure application performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in modern cloud environments, from monoliths to microservices, and especially for AI-driven workloads.
  • Customer understanding is your superpower. You'll strategically analyze market trends, audience needs, and competitive dynamics to craft compelling narratives that resonate deeply with developers, SREs, IT operators, and executive stakeholders. You are a problem solver who can diagnose complex technical and business challenges related to application health and find solutions. And you are a master communicator who knows how to connect effectively with both internal teams and external audiences. Your success hinges on your ability to build strong working relationships with customers, engineering and product leaders, and other product and marketing groups across the client.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Own the positioning, messaging, and value proposition updates of Client s Cloud Observability solutions (including capabilities like logging, monitoring, tracing, and error reporting), targeting enterprises and developers managing cloud-native and hybrid environments.
  • Build world-class, inspiring assets that excite customers and drive adoption of our Observability portfolio, such as product announcements, solution briefs, case studies, demos, and thought leadership content.
  • Create innovative marketing campaigns and collaborate closely with demand generation and sales teams to drive pipeline and expand market share.
  • Identify, develop, and/or manage the creation of a variety of content types written, videos, presentations, interactive tools, etc. as needed to shape Go-To-Market plans and educate the market.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and market trends in cloud observability to refine strategies and identify new opportunities for differentiation.

Experience (Mandatory):

  • 3 years of experience in marketing, working across one or more marketing fields (i.e., product marketing, growth marketing, brand marketing, content marketing).
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with product marketing for enterprise software or cloud services, with a focus on developer or operations tooling.

Experience (Desired):

  • 3+ years of enterprise technology or software marketing experience in the cloud or DevOps space.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native application architectures, distributed systems, and modern observability principles (e.g., logs, metrics, traces, SRE practices).
  • Experience with open-source observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana) and related communities.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives around complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, from engineers to executive leaders.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in a technical or marketing field or equivalent practical experience.
