Spencer Cole, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support onsite programs at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama.
The position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in embedded software development environments. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in DevSecOps practices, Azure DevOps (ADO), and CI/CD pipeline design for embedded systems.

Job Responsibilities

Implement DevSecOps and software assurance best practices

Design, develop, and secure embedded systems

Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking, CI/CD pipelines, and release management

Conduct code analysis, vulnerability assessments, and automated security testing

Maintain secure version control using Git/SVN

Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments

Support mission-critical cybersecurity requirements in a classified environment
Qualifications
-
Education: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field (Master's preferred)

Experience: 5+ years in DevSecOps/embedded cybersecurity or Master's with 3+ years

Clearance: Interim DoD Secret prior to start; ship required

Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert, CESE preferred
Required KSAs

5+ years in DevSecOps (embedded systems focus)
