Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $85.00 USD Hourly
Description:
About the Role
  • Join a collaborative team focused on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, fabrication, and material handling. You'll drive the adoption of advanced technologies-such as automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing-to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • You'll work in a 3D model-based environment to streamline manufacturing workflows and create digital work instructions. Your expertise in materials and automated processes will help define operational procedures and build sequences that support operational excellence. You'll also evaluate equipment performance using IoT and other tools, implement corrective actions, and leverage factory data to develop statistical process control strategies and data analytics solutions.
  • Additionally, you'll collaborate with design teams to influence product development, ensuring manufacturability and optimal use of equipment and techniques.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, quality assurance, and production teams.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes across disciplines including composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies, and installations.
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous process improvements.
  • Utilize MRP systems such as SAP or other MES platforms to manage production workflows.
  • Analyze equipment and tool performance, leveraging IoT data for diagnostics and optimization.
  • Contribute to product design by providing feedback on manufacturability and process integration.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, machining, and electrical processes.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with MRP/MES systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Proficiency in Catia V5.
  • Aviation industry experience required.
