Day in the Life of a Liaison Engineering Co-op:

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion for our advanced aviation products. Bring your mechanical and material science knowledge along with fresh ideas to Amarillo, TX to work with engineers who analyze, troubleshoot and resolve aircraft issues often through design of repair. Our engineers find new ways of doing things within disciplined processes to keep Bell at the forefront of aviation technology. Bell has some of the most advanced commercial and military aircraft in the world, in large part because our team members work tirelessly to push each other to the top of their game.

As a Liaison Engineering Co-op at Bell in Amarillo, you can expect to work under the mentorship of career engineers and other site-level leadership to aid them in their work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. An objective is to determine your enthusiasm and fit for the work we do. You will support Build Team and Quality team members to find alternative solutions immediately available to them.

What You'll Need:

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Aerospace Engineering - Required.

Minimum 60 college credit hours completed prior to the start of the co-op (October 2025) or prior Bell internship experience.

Able to work on-site at Bell's Amarillo Facility between 15 and 20 hours per week

3.0 GPA or higher preferred.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

Demonstrated experience working on a cross functional team(s), involving an atmosphere of coordination and collaboration with heightened levels critical thinking.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently on special project(s).

Experience and willingness to learn and expand knowledge of complex mechanical systems. Examples include troubleshooting, disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly and test of automotive systems and/or components; farm equipment, robotic devices, personal projects, etc.

High integrity, a strong work ethic and drive to be successful in a complex work environment.

Direct knowledge and interest to make the high desert of the Texas Panhandle your future home.

Strong computer skills with focus on: 3-D Modeling, Planning, Database & Microsoft Office Tools.

Previous internship experience in an engineering role, preferably in an aerospace, technology and/or manufacturing organization.
