Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) with experience in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to understand business needs, articulate requirements, and translate them into actionable technical and functional specifications for technology teams. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The BA will work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to define the application, system and product roadmap and ensure alignment with key stakeholders. The role also requires flexibility to travel as needed to engage with stakeholders and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and prioritize business requirements.

Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on goals and objectives.

Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive consensus.

Provide clear communication and reporting to senior management and key decision-makers.

Support Application, System or Product Roadmap:

Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.

Work with enterprise architects, solution architects and developers to ensure alignment with the requirements.

Oversee testing phases (UAT, SIT).

Technology & Industry Expertise:

Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing.

Understanding of TMS, WMS, Salesforce, and other systems used in Logistics industry would be a plus.

Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards as defined by SAIA.

Lead efforts related to user training, documentation, and user adoption strategies.

Work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Domain Expertise:

Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Transport & Logistics, and Manufacturing industry processes.

Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS, OTM and MES systems is a plus.

Functional Skills:

Ability to gather, document, and analyze business requirements effectively.

Hands-on experience with process mapping, workflow definition, and digital transformation initiatives.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication skills to engage with business and technical teams.

Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and negotiate.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Self-motivated and adaptable to fast-paced environments.

Willingness to travel for business and project engagements.

Preferred Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience in a techno-functional consulting role.

Proven track record of working with business and IT teams to implement technology solutions.

Experience in enterprise applications, cloud platforms, or AI-driven solutions is a plus.
