Sr Mainframe Developer

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong skills in analyzing and documenting batch job dependencies using mainframe panels (e.g., 1.D.5.X cross reference or similar tools). The role focuses on understanding complex job flows, mapping upstream/downstream impacts, and providing clear technical documentation.

- Analyze and document dependencies across JCL streams, procs, programs, and datasets using mainframe cross reference and control panels (e.g., 1.D.5.X, library utilities, job schedulers).

- Build and maintain end to end job flow diagrams.

- JCL Changes (Procs and Jobs) to remove file input references. This would include JCL testing after the changes.

- Put Dummy reference into JCL and Test JCL (Set up test files - create test data or copy from another source)

- Submit work orders to stop jobs from running

- Minimum of 7 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

- {OR} The completion of a technical training program and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.

- {OR} Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and 4 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
