JOB SUMMARY:

Performs all aspects of maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment, building equipment, office equipment, building and grounds to ensure quality and efficiencies for the organization are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    \n
  • Performs line set-up activities in an efficient, timely manner.
  • \n
  • Provides line adjustments and preventive maintenance to maintain efficient line operation
  • \n
  • Assists in the maintenance and repairs of production equipment, building and grounds.
  • \n
  • Keeps maintenance log as required.
  • \n
  • Keeps maintenance supervisor advised of equipment spare parts needed.
  • \n
  • Coordinates with department supervisors when machines must be taken off line for maintenance.
  • \n
  • Works on high voltage electrical equipment and wiring to perform repair and installations.
  • \n
  • Oversees contractor work for facility modification and repair.
  • \n
  • Is trained and works in compliance with all plant and departmental standard operating procedures and safety procedures.
  • \n
  • Maintains plant safety systems so that they are operational.
  • \n

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:
    \n
  • Knowledge of electronics, electrical services, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC required.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of production equipment and line set-up.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of aerosols and liquid filling preferred.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of high voltage services required.
  • \n
  • Troubleshooting and equipment repair, general construction, plumbing, welding, HVAC and carpentry skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to read schematics/diagrams.
  • \n
  • Ability to work on high voltage installations and electronics (PLCs, circuit boards, etc.).
  • \n
  • Able to drive forklift.
  • \n
  • Machining skills a plus.
  • \n

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    \n
  • Technical School Graduate (Maintenance Management or equivalent).
  • \n
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing equipment/building repairs and line set-up.
  • \n
  • Experience with aerosol production a plus.
  • \n
  • Process logic controls/electronic expertise a plus.
  • \n
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • \n
