Job Description

Oracle is seeking a distinguished IC6 Software Developer Architect to deliver advanced consultative and strategic guidance for federal and state customers in highly regulated healthcare IT environments. Recognized nationally as a thought leader in cloud transformation and healthcare technology, you will play a mission-critical role in the seamless operation and evolution of Oracle Health Gen1 solutions-supporting migration and integration initiatives across Legacy Data Centers, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) OC2, and OC3 environments.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the customer journey for high-impact deployments, including participation in major product upgrades, site go-lives, complex migrations, and the negotiation of SLAs/SLOs as well as government contract reviews. You will drive modernization by leveraging automation, orchestration, and AI, ensuring innovation and reduced operational overhead across Day 0 (strategy), Day 1 (deployment), and Day 2 (sustainment) activities.

Collaboration with Oracle Health Gen2 product teams is key as you enable customers to maximize adoption and strategic use of next-generation offerings, while maintaining exceptional standards for security, compliance, and reliability.

  • Shape and advise on policies for security, compliance, risk management, and SLA/SLO standards, ensuring alignment between Oracle's solutions and federal or state contractual frameworks.
  • Spearhead evaluation and deployment of automation/orchestration and AI solutions to strategically optimize operational efficiency and resilience.
  • Lead and represent Oracle in government contract reviews, negotiations of SLAs/SLOs, and compliance assessments.

  • Deliver consultative support for customer onboarding, incident management, and operational improvement-with a focus on reliable service continuity during and after migration.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for deployment automation, CI/CD processes, and advanced monitoring, using automation and AI to streamline routine activities.
  • Actively participate in customer events, ensuring seamless technical execution, SLA compliance, and operational excellence through detailed oversight and support.
  • Work closely with Oracle Health Gen2 product development teams to accelerate integration, enablement, and time-to-value for the latest healthcare cloud solutions.
  • Deliver sustained, strategic and tactical recommendations that drive innovation, regulatory compliance, and superior customer satisfaction across all environments.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Nationally recognized subject matter expert and thought leader in healthcare IT, cloud transformation, and large-scale systems integration.
  • Proven excellence in automation, orchestration, and AI adoption to enhance Day 0/1/2 operations and significantly reduce KTLO (Keep The Lights On) efforts across both cloud and legacy environments.
  • Advanced capability to resolve critical architectural and design challenges, influencing broad technical direction and organizational decision-making.
  • Deep experience conducting government contract reviews and leading SLA/SLO negotiations, aligning customer commitments with compliant and sustainable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and advisory skills-trusted as a spokesperson with the ability to foster relationships with key customer and executive stakeholders.
  • High degree of autonomy and strategic insight in shaping objectives and execution plans for complex, cross-functional projects, while cultivating technical excellence and mentorship within teams.
