The Opportunity
Adobe Design is looking for an innovative Experience Designer to join our growth team. Growth designers deliver strategic, thoughtfully crafted experiences that drive user success. Our work shapes user behavior and strengthens users' relationship with Adobe's apps and services. You're a well-rounded designer who is eager to experiment, innovate, and take a data-led approach to optimizing the customer journey through Creative Cloud and Adobe.com. You empathize with users, actively push for interesting solutions, and see collaboration as core to your design process.

What you'll do
Be a passionate collaborator. Partner with the product and marketing teams to deliver targeted, user-centered, on-brand experiences. Ensure test experiences are fully aligned with Adobe Design guidelines, user research, and the holistic user journey. Collect and act on feedback from fellow designers, cross-functional partners, product developers, research, and users.

Lead throughout all stages of the design process. Execute test experience designs from concept to high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma. This process includes fleshing out multiple iterations that sequentially build on test findings.

Be flexible. Is your ideal design process iterative and high velocity? You will work on multiple projects at the same time, with timelines ranging from a few weeks to a few months.

Approach problems holistically. Understand the demographics, needs, and behaviors of people who use Creative Cloud and Adobe.com by exploring our broad range of quantitative and qualitative research. Solve for both business and consumer needs.

Embrace empathy. Above all, serve as an advocate for the individuals who use our apps! Ideate and design with a user-centered, research-led approach. Follow through on delivering a high quality experience for your test audience - even on projects with fast turnaround times.

What you need to succeed
Must-haves
  • A minimum of 2 years experience designing for digital products.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, whether when writing a quick note to a coworker or discussing design work with a dozen people.
  • Proven experience advocating for and completing design work that has a measurable impact on both user experience and business performance indicators.
  • An understanding of A/B testing practices and customer engagement strategies.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard UX, UI, prototyping, and animation tools.
  • Ability to be flexible, embrace ambiguity, take initiative, and learn new skills on a regular basis.
  • A desire to go beyond pixels. Our work considers the many different factors (business, social, technical, etc.) that impact the user experiences we create.
  • An eagerness to understand quantitative and user data at scale.
  • A proven ability to proactively engage in cross-functional and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Nice-to-haves
  • High-level familiarity with one or more apps and services in Adobe's Creative Cloud offering, such as Photoshop, Express, Firefly, or Acrobat Pro.
  • Excellent knowledge of common animation and motion design techniques. Our team frequently incorporates motion in all facets of our work.
