Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to serve as the technical authority for enterprise network technologies including SD-WAN (Velocloud), Cisco LAN/Wireless, Data Center Networking (NexNDFC), F5 Load Balancers, and Azure Cloud Connectivity. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level troubleshooting, guide implementations, and collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to ensure stable, secure, and optimized network operations across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SD-WAN Velocloud, Cisco LAN/Wireless, and Data Center (NexNDFC) technologies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis for complex network issues.
• Provide best practices, technical guidance, and operational recommendations.

Implementation Support

• Assist in the deployment and configuration of Cisco LAN/Wireless infrastructure, Nexus Data Center Fabric Controller (NDFC), and F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers.
• Support seamless integration between on-premise environments and Azure cloud networking (ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN).

Operational Excellence

• Maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure optimal network performance, reliability, uptime, and compliance with security standards.
• Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.

Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with network architects, engineering teams, and cross-functional IT groups.
• Provide technical mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and guidance to junior network engineers and support teams.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend improvements and modernization initiatives to enhance network scalability and resiliency.
• Stay current with emerging network technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Cisco LAN/Wireless, Nexus Data Center, and NDFC management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Velocloud SD-WAN.
• Proficiency in F5 BIG-IP load balancers (LTM, GTM preferred).
• Solid experience in Azure cloud networking (ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, Virtual WAN).
• Deep understanding of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN.
• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting across multi-vendor, hybrid environments.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching, Enterprise, or Data Center)
• VMware SD-WAN Certification
• F5 Certified Administrator / Specialist
• Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate
