We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our project team, working on large-scale construction projects, and will be responsible for all aspects of electrical controls engineering, including design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical control systems. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Controls Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Designing, developing, and implementing PLC-based control systems for various construction machinery and equipment.
2. Programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC's using advanced PLC ladder logic and HMI programming.
3. Working closely with other engineers and technicians to develop automation systems and solutions.
4. Overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical control systems to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards.
5. Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of control systems, including schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
6. Collaborating with project managers to ensure that control systems are completed on time and within budget.
7. Providing technical support and training to end-users and other stakeholders.
8. Keeping abreast of advancements in electrical engineering and control systems technology.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Electrical Controls Engineer position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Controls Engineer, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in PLC, advanced PLC ladder logic, and HMI programming.
4. Extensive experience with Allen Bradley PLC's.
5. In-depth knowledge of automation systems and technologies.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
10. A valid professional engineer license is a plus.
