Contracts Administrator

Science, Engineering, Management Solutions, LLC (Sem-Sol) is a small business located in Albuquerque, NM. The company consists of skilled scientists, engineers and technicians that specialize in directed energy and pulsed power systems.

Sem-Sol is seeking a Contracts Administrator to perform a wide variety of contracting functions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and work well with a team.

Duties will include:

• Create and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Create non-disclosures, maintain, and distribute, as appropriate. Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
• Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
• Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what s best for the company.
• Create solutions and perform work to solve contract-related problems that may arise with internal and external customers.
• Analyze and understand Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements and be able to assist with the preparation complaint cost and administrative volumes.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4+ years related experience performing federal contracting
• BA or BS from an accredited University, in Contracts, Business or Finance
• Basic FAR knowledge
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word and Power Point
• Experience with proposal pricing and preparation of RFP responses
• Understanding of basic DCAA requirements for federal contractors

Desired Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

• Experience with DCAA and Government Accounting
• Experience with Deltek s Costpoint
• Active security clearance
