Job Title: Automation Tester ICD, UI, Java (5 Years Experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with 5 years of experience in UI automation, Java-based test frameworks, and Interface Control Document (ICD) validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Java and industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Perform UI testing to validate user interfaces across multiple browsers and devices.
- Analyze and validate Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to ensure accurate data exchange between systems.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
- Execute regression, integration, and system tests.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in Java and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
- Hands-on experience with UI testing and cross-browser compatibility testing.
- Solid understanding of ICD documents and experience validating data interfaces.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
