Job Title: Senior Hardware Design Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer with 8 10 years of experience in complex EE system design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for converting technical specifications into functional designs, with deep expertise in SoC/DDR, high-speed interfaces, and multilayer PCB development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently design and develop functional schematics and block diagrams from product requirements.
  • Lead the design of high-speed digital systems including SoC, DDR, and various interface protocols (DSI, CSI, I2C, SPI, HDMI, USB, Ethernet, DP).
  • Use ECAD tools like OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro for schematic entry and layout design.
  • Deliver complex, multilayer PCB designs, ensuring signal integrity and manufacturability.
  • Perform design validation, debugging, failure analysis, and drive root cause resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams through all phases of the hardware development cycle.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in electrical hardware design.
  • Proven capability to work independently with minimal guidance in translating requirements into functional board-level designs.
  • Deep understanding of SoC/DDR architectures, memory devices, and high-speed signal design.
  • Proficiency with OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro; strong in schematic capture and layout literacy.
  • Track record of delivering multilayer PCB-based EE systems from concept to production.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive failure analysis, debug efforts, and corrective actions.
