Description

We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Developer to join our CAD Team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will contribute to the development of software solutions that support design-facing applications for housing construction, specifically focusing on truss layouts. This is a long-term contract position that requires expertise in both software development and CAD-related technologies.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop software solutions using C++, C#, and the .NET Framework to support CAD applications.
Collaborate with the team to create design-facing tools for housing construction, with a focus on truss layouts.
Write and maintain code for on-premises and cloud hybrid environments.
Conduct unit testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed software.
Adapt software development skills to work with CAD systems such as IntelliCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to improve performance and usability.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to CAD and software development.
Provide documentation and technical support for developed solutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in C++, C#, and the .NET Framework.
Experience with CAD systems such as IntelliCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
Knowledge of hybrid on-premises/cloud ecosystems.
Strong understanding of software development principles and abstraction.
Familiarity with unit testing practices and methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Background in civil engineering is a plus but not required.
