Senior Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Administrator in Houston/Sugarland, TX.

The Senior Network Administrator will:
* Ensure high availability of enterprise voice and data platforms
* Troubleshoot and remediate 4th-level issues impacting corporate voice/data infrastructure
* Assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations following M&A activity
* Document design, operation, and troubleshooting of technology platforms
* Manage Fortinet Firewall network and Cisco switches
* Administer VMware VMs/Host/Datastore and Enterprise MS Active Directory

REQUIREMENTS:
* STEM degree + 2 years of experience or 5 years of related work experience
* 5+ years of network administration experience
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Familiarity with AD, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, TCP/IP, and VOIP
* Experience with Cisco/HPE switching and Fortinet firewalls
* VMware (SME level)
* Networking (Cisco/HPE switching, TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
* Fortinet firewall management
* Enterprise MS Active Directory
* Windows OS administration
* VM deployment/configuration
* VOIP knowledge
* Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Preferred: Familiarity with large network management and DevOps processes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
