Job Description Lead IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) / MFT Production Support

Role: Lead IBM Sterling File Gateway / MFT
Skills: IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG), IBM Sterling Integrator (SI), IBM MFT, Sterling B2B, Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), AWS Cloud

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage production support for IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) & B2B Integrator (SI).

  • Monitor daily file transfers, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA adherence.

  • Handle partner onboarding, routing rules, BP (Business Process) changes, and protocol setup (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS).

  • Manage Sterling Secure Proxy configurations and routing channels.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to:

    • File routing

    • Protocol failures

    • Business Process (BPML) errors

    • Certificates/key management

  • Implement fixes/patches, coordinate with infrastructure teams, and perform RCA.

  • Work with AWS Cloud services for logging, monitoring, and failover (S3, EC2, CloudWatch preferred).

  • Manage on-call rotations, handle critical P1/P2 incidents, and lead war rooms.

  • Improve system stability, performance and automate repeated tasks.

  • Mentor junior team members and interact with business/partners during critical issues.
