About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced EPIC System Architect to lead the design, integration, and governance of EPIC system architecture across large-scale IT environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with EPIC implementations, deep knowledge of healthcare standards, and a strategic mindset to align technical solutions with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead EPIC System Architecture Design: Define and oversee the architectural framework for EPIC implementations, ensuring scalability, high performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Integration Strategy & Execution: Design and manage seamless integrations between EPIC modules and third-party systems (e.g., lab systems, billing platforms, external APIs) using HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
- Technical Leadership & Governance: Serve as the technical authority for EPIC infrastructure, guiding cross-functional teams in engineering, implementation, and support throughout the system lifecycle.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance metrics. Architect and implement solutions to improve system uptime, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Roadmapping: Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT leadership to align EPIC system architecture with organizational strategy, current needs, and future healthcare initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in EPIC system implementations
- Proven expertise in healthcare or IT architecture and integration
- Strong understanding of industry protocols such as HL7 and FHIR
- Demonstrated leadership in complex technical environments
- Deep knowledge of healthcare compliance and security standards
