Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate.
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.Accepting local candidates and non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expenses with no delays. Position will be hybrid, in office 2 days a week (Tue/Wed) upon start.
Client is in need of a Software Test Analyst to provide excellent customer service supporting both projects and work request needs for the Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE), Department of Natural Resources (DNR), and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) Agencies. This person will have the opportunity to be a critical member of the DTMB Agency Services Quality Assurance team, contributing to the operational activities of the QA team and participating in various related work requests for EGLE, DNR, and MDARD.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of general QA experience.
Currently this is a hybrid work schedule. The candidate will report to a Lansing, MI job location, currently twice per week.
As an IT Quality Assurance Analyst, this individual will serve as a software tester - ensuring system requirements are testable and accurately met, perform preliminary ADA/SOM Standards reviews of systems, assist with application vulnerability security scanning, and ensure DTMB and vendor partners deliver a quality tested solution to our agencies. This position is an advocate for adherence to SOM PSPs, helping to ensure secure access, use and storage of various data supporting business operations. In addition, this position works closely with business partners to uphold quality standards across our IT systems, web sites, web applications, mobile sites, and mobile applications.
This position is critical for coordinating efforts between technical and business teams, completing quality assurance activities, advocating for adherence to SOM PSPs, and providing application and customer support for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD).
Specific Position Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years writing and executing manual test cases
- Minimum of 5 years experience with defect tracking and management
- Minimum of 5 years validating test results and tracking testing metrics
- Minimum of 5 years communicating test and defect activities with project team and customers
- Minimum of 2 years testing ADA accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Minimum of 2 years reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results
