Job Details
Position: HPE Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Project Type: Onsite
Required Qualifications
- HPE Product Certified SimpliVity (must hold current certification)
or HPE Master ASE (equivalent expert-level certification)
Proposers must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience providing this service and must be a certified HPE Enterprise Partner or higher. This includes:
- System Management, Patch Management & Ongoing Support: Proactively manage and maintain the HPE Simplivity, Broadcom (VMware), and HPE Aruba network switch environment. This includes regular firmware, patches, updates, and upgrades.
- Upgrades and New Version Integration: Plan and execute major version upgrades for the Broadcom (VMware) and HPE Simplivity environments, ensuring adherence to manufacturer-specific upgrade paths and best practices.
- Virtual Machine Management: Provide ongoing support for the virtual machines running in the environment, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Proactive Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of all infrastructure components and provide monthly reports to the city s IT staff.
