Job Description:
- Seeking a strategic and results-driven Purchasing Senior Manager to oversee and optimize shared services operations across multiple business units in the Americas.
- This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, implementing standardized policies and processes, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in procurement and other shared functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage shared services operations to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Partner with system analysts to implement functional enhancements that support process improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, standardize, and enforce procurement policies and processes across the Americas region.
- Monitor performance metrics and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align shared services strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
- Leverage technology and automation to streamline procurement workflows and optimize service delivery.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to shared services professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Purchasing Process and 3+ years of Shared Services management or a similar leadership role.
- Experience in policy integration, development, and implementation.
- Experience in systems integration and implementation
- Experience with Oracle SCM Module.
- Experience with SAP operating systems is a plus
- Expertise in process mapping, optimization and service delivery models within procurement operations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of driving collaboration and efficiency.
- Proficiency in shared services technology, data analytics, and automation tools.
- Proven success in driving operational efficiencies and procurement strategy improvements.
- Expertise in Microsoft applications, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
