AWS Cloud Platform Engineer in Parsippany, NJ | Onsite | Hybrid

Core Requirements

Experience: 8+ years in Cloud platform engineering.

Cloud Expertise:

o AWS: RDS, Redshift, DMS, Lambda.

o OCI Cloud data services.

o Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.

Replication & Streaming:

o IBM CDC replication technologies.

o Confluent Kafka.

o IBM Voltage encryption.

NoSQL Expertise:

o Strong in Couchbase cluster management.

o Version upgrades, security patching, and performance tuning.

o High availability via node scaling and rebalancing.

Programming & Automation:

o Python & Shell scripting.

o Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.

Systems Knowledge:

o Linux/Unix environments.

o Networking protocols.

o Ownership of production systems.

Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication.

o Comfortable working across IST & US Eastern time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Advanced Certifications.

Multi-cloud platform exposure.

Distributed systems architecture experience.

Hands-on with Kafka streaming platforms.

Couchbase (or similar NoSQL) cluster admin experience.

Data replication pipeline development and maintenance.
