Job Details

Job Title: Data Engineer Python

Location of role: Clayton Mo. Hybrid role 3 days a week on-site. Good work/life balance.

Salary base $135K to $145K plus a nice 10% potential bonus - Depending on experience DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, update, and support ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Serve a wide range of stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Define, design, develop, unit test, and support both new and legacy solutions
  • Work under tight timelines and complex business requirements
  • Provide production support, including:
    • Handling high-severity incidents
    • Performing code reviews
    • Participating in on-call rotations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues independently
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • ETL/ELT development and SQL
  • Experience with:
    • Python, C#, or similar high-level languages
    • AWS, including Lambda, S3, and Airflow
    • Databricks or PySpark highlight CI/CD, and reporting pipeline integration
    • Airflow or Workflow Orchestration or similar tool experience
    • Medallion Architecture (Delta Lake: bronze/silver/gold layers)
    • Streaming / Real-time Data like Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, Kinesis, or similar.
  • Attributes:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Excellent customer support skills
    • Any Certifications mention.
Preferred Experience:
  • Microsoft SQL Server database development
  • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • BPA Automate or similar business automation tools
