Salesforce Project Manager
The Sr. IT PM is a strategic leader responsible for driving complex, cross-functional initiatives that enable sales growth, marketing effectiveness, and pricing optimization. This role oversees multiple high-impact projects across commercial portfolios, including CRM enhancements, marketing automation, pricing tools, and customer analytics platforms. Will be responsible for simultaneously directing the efforts of IT team to achieve clearly defined results within the triple constraints of time, budget and specifications for medium and high-complexity projects. This position is responsible for an average of 3-5 projects. The position is responsible for developing the project work plan, and managing the expectations, deliverables and results of all internal and external project resources for the roles and activities defined in the plan. This includes managing outside vendors to ensure they meet contractual deliverables. Responsible for tracking project milestones and making necessary adjustments to the project plan or resources to maintain customer commitments.
- Strategic Project Leadership -Lead 3-5 concurrent enterprise-level projects across Sales, Marketing, and Pricing domains.
 - Define scope, success metrics, and delivery plans aligned with business priorities.
 - Stakeholder Management & Alignment - Engage senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and resource needs.
 - Facilitate executive steering committees and decision-making forums.
 - Technology & Vendor Oversight - Manage vendor relationships and contracts for MarTech, CRM, and pricing platforms.
 - Oversee integrations, data flows, and platform adoption strategies.
 - Risk & Change Management - Identify strategic risks and dependencies across portfolios. Lead change management efforts to ensure stakeholder buy-in and smooth transitions during technology rollouts.
 - Financial & Resource Planning - Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations.
 - Provide financial oversight and ROI analysis for technology investments.
 - Team Leadership & Coaching- Manages cross-functional team members.
 - Promote best practices in agile and waterfall methodologies, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
 - Performance Reporting & Communication- Deliver executive-level reporting on project health, risks, and outcomes
 - Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, tailoring messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
 
- Manages large-scale project from planning to completion by facilitating meetings with project stakeholders.
 - Develops, analyzes, and manages project estimation and execution plans, schedules, and resource forecasts.
 - Monitors overall project performance against plan and makes adjustments as needed. Identifies and resolves issues.
 - Provides insight and direction for the request for information and vendor request for proposal processes.
 - Manages the work of IT resources by recommending or requesting resources based on the alignment of team member skills and project demands.
 - Communicates a clear vision of project goals and objectives to the team. Coordinates IT team activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
 - Lead and provide work direction to a project team to determine project scope, devise and maintain a workable plan, and to develop and deploy the solution in accordance with the needs of the project.
 - Provides performance feedback to team members as needed.
 - Manages, controls, and mitigates risks across multiple projects by analyzing and identifying trigger events.
 - Manage the project change control process, status reporting, and project estimating.
 - Establishes contingency plans, anticipates and manages dependencies affected by ongoing changes across projects, and recommends ways to mitigate future risks.
 - Influences management to take action on these recommendations.
 - Manages the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, third party vendors, and senior management.
 - Manage interaction between the customer, vendors, and the internal project team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes.
 - Provides insight and recommendations to Program Managers to drive the development of project goals, influence the prioritization of deliverables, and facilitate decisions necessary for project delivery.
 - Adheres to enterprise project management practices by participating in formal and informal training sessions.
 - Tracks and reports key metrics as needed. Gathers, maintains, and communicates lessons learned and feedback to team members, management, and the larger project management community.
