Job Details

Our client is hiring a BI Developer/Data Engineer! Innovar Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer / Data Engineer to support a high-performing data team as they accelerate data collection efforts and expand pipeline development across both on-prem and cloud environments. You’ll work closely with a talented group of Senior Data Engineers and partner with the Manager of Data Engineering to build new pipelines, modernize legacy systems, and help drive the adoption of Microsoft Fabric.

 

Business Intelligence Developer / Data Engineer

6-Month Contract | Strong Potential for Extension

Hybrid: 1–2 Days/Week Onsite in Denver, CO

Hourly: $65-$70, W2

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS
  • Work with SSAS to support cube development and semantic modeling
  • Support on-prem SQL Server environments and assist with modernization efforts
  • Build new data pipelines and migrate/convert existing pipelines into Microsoft Fabric
  • Contribute to cloud data engineering initiatives and evolving Fabric capabilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with dashboard teams (Power BI team handles most reporting)
  • Support data collection acceleration and core data platform growth

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with SSIS and SSAS
  • Hands-on expertise with on-prem SQL Server
  • Solid ETL development background — BI Developer or Data Engineer paths both welcome
  • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines
  • Exposure to Python or PySpark (highly preferred)
  • Power BI experience is helpful but not the primary focus
