Power BI Developer & Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a mission-driven team focused on supporting clinician wellbeing while owning the full analytics lifecycle in a high-visibility role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • About 60% of your time will be spent developing Power BI dashboards from start to finish, managing datasets, and preparing data using SQL Server.
  • About 40% of your time will be pulling and integrating survey data from multiple disparate sources, supporting the team with additional data needs, and presenting findings and technical concepts in celar, accessible language.
  • Develop end-to-end Power BI dashboards from raw data through final visualization.
  • Design and build publication-ready, interactive, and self-guided dashboards.
  • Select appropriate visualization methods, interactivity, drill-down structures, and delivery mechanisms.
  • Pull survey data from multiple disparate sources and support broader team analytics needs.
  • Present findings and dashboards to stakeholders; explain data insights in layman s terms.
  • Extract, clean, and manage datasets from a variety of internal sources, including survey data.
  • Use SQL Server and SQL to prepare, transform, and query data.
  • Manage dataset accuracy, reliability, lineage, and metadata.
  • Identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
  • Work with teams to ensure appropriate data models are developed.
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders primarily the analytics team for requirements gathering and project scoping.
  • Support ad hoc data requests and broader team data needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 6+ years of Power BI development experience, not just front-end work but end-to-end lifecycle.
  • Strong SQL Server / SQL skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working directly with customers from requirements gathering, functional design, development, and delivery of interactive data visualization.
  • Strong background in designing and building publication-ready interactive and self-guided data visualizations using Power BI, along with diverse sets of structured and unstructured data.
  • Excellent communication skills and consultative personality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; collaborative and able to contribute within a small, close-knit team.
  • High level of critical thinking and analytical creativity.
  • Enjoys engaging deeply with data and offering recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Clinical or healthcare background
  • Experience and familiarity working with healthcare-specific data, concepts, and terminology
  • MS Access
