Job Details

The Senior Manager, Data Engineering and Architecture is accountable for several critical, data-related initiatives at Lineage including bringing our key data assets centrally. With 400+ facilities in two dozen countries, the need to meticulously organize, validate, and expose critical business data to Lineage Logistics' stakeholders has never been more important.

We leverage cloud services, best-of-breed libraries and components, and external teams to augment our capabilities with sufficient capacity. This means that in addition to being a firsthand technologist and leader, you also need to be able to review and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver.

  • Mentor and provide guidance - especially to other technical resources.
  • Identify, plan, estimate, execute, and track software engineering work across a diverse team.
  • Establish a team structure that can scale with future growth and implementing necessary processes to support it.
  • Equipping the team with innovative data warehousing technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Overseeing vendor resources in a streamlined and process-driven manner to maximize productivity.
  • Grow and maintain a broad and deep knowledge of supply chain operations and associated technologies.
  • Travel occasionally internationally to meet with team members and partners.

Education and Work Experience:
  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or IT management and/or >12 years of relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of working with data and reporting including architecture design, data modeling, tool selection, reporting architecture, query writing, ETL process and tools, and data quality assurance.
