Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our Wealth Management Product Technology team. This role involves developing and enhancing applications for the Private Banking Group, focusing on scalable service-oriented architecture and core Java applications. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in Java development, Spring frameworks, microservices architecture, and database technologies. This position requires collaboration within an Agile environment and offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in the banking technology landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development using Java and related technologies.
• Design and develop Java applications and scalable solutions based on Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate as part of a banking Agile Squad.
• Lead IT deliverables and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint grooming, planning discussions, and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in core Java 1.8 or higher and related technologies.
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.
• Experience with Java EE, Web Services (REST, SOAP, MQ, Tomcat).
• Expertise in database design, development, SQL, PL/SQL, and tuning (preferably DB2).
• Experience in developing user interfaces using Angular.
• Understanding of large enterprise application requirements (security, entitlements, etc.).
• Knowledge of design patterns and ability to apply them effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across regions and time zones.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with financial markets, lending-based products, and wealth management.
• Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools for a productive development environment.

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay Range: $70- $80 W2
