This company is seeking to hire a skilled .NET Software Engineer to take full ownership of its tech stack. In this role, you'll have significant autonomy, designing custom applications to implement impactful reporting changes and address a variety of business needs within a dynamic and fast-paced industry. Required Skills And Experience
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core 7 Web API (minimal API)
  • Strong experience with Bootstrap 5
  • Familiarity with jQuery
  • Solid understanding of SQL
  • Expertise in C# 11
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice To Have
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Containerization and Orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Microservices Architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Knowledge of Unit Testing and frameworks like xUnit or NUnit
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
What You Will Be Doing
  • Design, build, and maintain custom applications using .NET Core, C#, and related technologies to support business operations, focusing on high-performance, scalable solutions.
  • Take full ownership of the entire tech stack, including front-end, back-end, and databases, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Work closely with other developers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement reporting systems to provide actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices in software development (e.g., SOLID principles, clean code).
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing systems and applications to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize system performance.
  • Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to the team's continuous improvement.
  • Create clear and concise technical documentation for developed solutions, making it easier for the team to maintain and enhance applications.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications, particularly in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.
  • Ensure software solutions follow security best practices, industry standards, and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and software trends, and propose new tools or processes that could benefit the organization's technical infrastructure.
