Description


Client currently seeks a Technical Lead - .Net to join our team in Hybrid - Bethesda, MD/McLean, VA .
NOTE: We need a very strong React developer with very good .net core skills and experience in other frameworks (and react). Prefer someone local so that this person can work once in a while from NIH office in MD

Position Responsibilities & Tasks:
Develop and guide team members on thin server architecture, RESTful services, React, SignalR, .NET platform, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and AJAX, Automation Framework, CI/CD, Jenkins, Cucumber, Selenium-WebDriver, etc.
Develop a well-tested, high performance, scalable web application.
Develop cross browser, standard-compliant user interface components.
Develop Proof of Concepts to demonstrate new feature set and work with Development team to implement/integrate the solution.
Develop Incident report of any incidents and include the root cause analysis notes
Designing and executing database queries, stored procedures, reports, and other database mechanisms using Microsoft SQL Server.
Work with customers to understand and implement new requirements.
Help maintain security posture of the Application.
Support and be hands-on on release deployments, support tickets, security items, etc.
Oversee technical delivery and provide technical leadership guidance and be hands-on on all software development, operations, and maintenance activities.
Experience with troubleshooting, bottlenecks identification and performance optimization.
Work with the team to provide estimates for development and testing activities, help the Scrum Master in preparing sprint plans.
Participate in advanced troubleshooting of issues escalated to help QA team to come-up with Steps to Reproduce (STR) and analyze, identify the issue root cause.
Provide customer support when necessary.
Work closely with security specialists to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Pass on project knowledge to multiple stakeholders in technical and non-technical language.
Benchmark the systems, analyze system bottlenecks, and propose solutions to eliminate them.
Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.

Expectations:
Hands on in developing and maintaining code using .Net Core 3.1, .Net 6.0 and React technologies
Expertise in Advanced JavaScript coding
Self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, guiding the team with technical inputs as required

Qualifications:
10+ year of experience as technical lead and solution designer for managing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications using .net technologies and supporting operational and maintenance items of the applications.
5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, packaging, and deploying SPA web applications.
5+ years of experience on development React/Redux, JSX, TypeScript
7+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap
7+ years of experience of creating standards-compliant cross browser HTML code.
7+ years of experience with .NET Core Web API, .NET Core Entity Framework.
7+ years of experience with SVN, Visual Studio, REST client.
7+ years of experience with MS SQL Server.

Desired experience:
Telerik Kendo React UI.
Integration testing using Selenium and SpecFlow.
Jenkins managements and jobs configuration.
Azure DevOps managements and jobs configuration.

Education:
BS/MS degree in MIS, CS, or related discipline
Education requirement can be substituted with additional years of relevant IT experience, considering qualifications requirements are met.
