Job Description
You will be the Industrial Engineer Sr, responsible for Estimating and Cost Management for Production Operations and Engineering & Technology (E&T). Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional industrial engineering and cost management expertise to drive business growth and success.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for applying classical Industrial Engineering and application techniques, including learning curves, trend analysis, and cost performance, to support production operations and E&T.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining cost estimates and budgets for production operations and E&T projects
Analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
Applying learning curves and trend analysis to forecast future costs and improve cost performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production operations, E&T, and finance, to drive business outcomes and achieve program goals
Communicating complex technical and financial information to stakeholders, including program managers, engineers, and finance professionals
Developing and maintaining reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools to support cost management and estimating activities
Ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies, including obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
- Experience in production cost reporting and analysis.
- Cost management knowledge/experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, analytical and verbal communications skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Tool kit.
- Self-starter/motivated individual with the Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Desired skills
- Knowledge of MFC financial systems. Cost management experience in a production or financial environment.
- Managing/Tracking manpower and labor actuals.
- Knowledge of general production processes.
- Exposure to developing EACs for Prod Ops costs and communicating variances.
- Large data analytical skills and tools knowledge such as Tableau.
- Strong Analytical & Critical Thinking skills, Proactive problem solver.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of Internal Customers.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
