About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer III to join our team, specializing in customer identity and access management (IAM) with a focus on Ping Directory and related Ping Identity products. This role will design, implement, and support scalable directory services, ensuring secure, high-performance identity infrastructure.
You will work closely with IT Engineering and Information Security teams, contribute to enterprise-wide security initiatives, and provide technical leadership to peers and offshore teams.
 
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience (Master s preferred).
8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years with Ping Directory or similar LDAP-based services.
Strong knowledge of IAM principles: authentication, authorization, federation.
Hands-on experience with the Ping Identity suite (PingDirectory, PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne).
Experience with cloud integration (AWS or similar).
Proficiency with Unix/Linux systems.
Scripting experience (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation and integration.
Solid understanding of distributed computing and replication strategies.
Familiarity with application/data security and common vulnerabilities.
Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services).
Previous collaboration with offshore teams.
Industry certifications (Security+, CISSP, Ping Identity certifications).
Background in DevOps or Java development.
