Duration: 12+ Months (with potential for extension)
Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM EST)
About the Job

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Junior Developer to join a dynamic application development team supporting modernization efforts for immigrant information systems. This is a great opportunity to grow your Salesforce skills while contributing to a high-impact public sector project.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and support of Salesforce-based applications.
  • Translate business rules and requirements into technical solutions.
  • Resolve low to medium complexity support tickets related to Salesforce workflows and configurations.
  • Create and manage Jira tickets; generate standard reports.
  • Participate in testing, project coordination, and communication efforts.
  • Support data modeling, architecture, and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure solution alignment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow into an advanced Salesforce developer role.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce out-of-the-box configuration and customization.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce workflows, data models, and basic system administration.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile development practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce System Administrator Certification.
  • Interest in pursuing advanced Salesforce development training and certifications.
  • Experience working in public sector or nonprofit environments is a plus.
