Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

Location: Muscatine, Iowa

Full-time

Job Summary:

The Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing the enterprise end-user environment. This includes desktops, laptops, virtual desktops (VDI), software deployment, mobile device management (MDM), and collaboration tools. The role also provides technical leadership, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure a seamless user experience across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a focus on continuous improvement in user support and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Support:

  • Handle all simple and complex EUC issues, collaborating with Service Desk and NOC teams.
  • Manage endpoint patching, software distribution, driver/BIOS updates, and compliance using tools like SCCM/MECM or Intune.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle management provisioning, maintenance, replacement, and retirement.
  • Automate EUC tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and endpoint management platforms.
  • Maintain the EUC infrastructure including physical desktops/laptops, MACs, thin clients, VDI (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon), and MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Workspace ONE).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards (HIPAA, ISO, etc.), and audit requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for EUC architecture, SOPs, and support playbooks.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability.
  • Support procurement and vendor selection processes for endpoint hardware/software.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 5 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on end-user computing.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM, Intune, AutoPilot, and mobile device management.
  • Experience with VDI technologies like Citrix, VMware Horizon, or AVD.
  • Deep understanding of endpoint security practices and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+.
  • Experience with macOS and Jamf for Apple device management.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools: Teams, Zoom, Webex.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
