We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist to join our client s team in Atlanta, GA. This is a W2 hybrid position, requiring 2 3 days onsite each week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data-driven decision making, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions
Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into data science solutions
Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Work with engineering teams to implement models into production environments
Continuously improve models and tools based on performance and business feedback
Required Skills & Experience:
5 8+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning roles
Strong knowledge of Python or R, with experience using libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases
Experience building and tuning machine learning models (classification, regression, NLP, etc.)
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn
Solid understanding of statistical methods, A/B testing, and data wrangling
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
Experience working in hybrid or enterprise environments
Knowledge of MLOps practices, CI/CD, and model deployment frameworks
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
