Project Manager

Our client, a leading ad-tech SaaS company , is seeking a contract Project Manager to temporarily support a critical client migration initiative while the current field employee is on leave. This role is expected to last 1-2 months, with potential for extension depending on evolving project needs.
The Project Manager will be instrumental in client-by-client migrations from a legacy platform to a modernized system, helping reduce platform issues and improve user experience. There are two projects already in flight, with a major migration scheduled for August. The incoming PM will shadow calls initially, then transition into leading execution.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Shadow and ramp up on in-flight projects, then lead client migrations from a legacy platform to the new system.

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with migration goals.

  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and client stakeholders.

  • Ensure smooth execution by identifying risks, resolving blockers, and keeping milestones on track.

  • Manage resource allocation and communicate project status proactively.

  • Oversee testing processes and ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Serve as a key liaison with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction during the transition.


Qualifications:



  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in SaaS, ad-tech, or mar-tech environments.

  • Strong background in system migrations, particularly platform transitions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to lead client-facing calls.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage projects remotely.

  • Experience working with legacy system updates and rollouts is strongly preferred.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
