Role: Database Architect (ETL, Oracle)
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 1 year (4 years extension possible)

Summary:
Perform Database Architect work as a member of the Data Governance team, overseeing one or more projects concurrently. Test Extraction Transformation Load (ETL) processes for the data warehouse. Document ETL processes to extract data from existing systems into the data warehouse. Document the as-is schemas currently in use at the client. Perform complex data modeling tasks in a data warehouse environment. Create mapping documents from source to target databases. Create database standards and best practices deliverables. Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support the client Enterprise Data Warehouse. Define and document the technical architecture. Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
Required Skills:
- 8 Years of Deep hands-on expertise with Informatica ETL processes, development, data management, data profiling, data flows, data relationships, and data quality standards and processes
- 8 Years of Hands-on experience with data warehouse development and testing (relational and dimensional) and proven evidence to implement using databases like Oracle, SQL Server etc. but preferably Oracle
- 8 Years of Analyzing and generating technical requirements and design
- 8 Years of Hands-on experience with data modeling preferably in a data warehouse environment
- 8 Years of Experience with Informatica product suite in the Informatica cloud
- 8 Years of Creating source to target mapping database documentation
- 8 Years of Assist with migrating data from legacy database to new target database
Preferred:
- 5 Years of More than one type of RDBMS (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle)
- 5 Years of Erwin or other equivalent data modeling tools
- 3 Years of Experience in Amazon Web Services
- Texas Workforce Commission experience
