Job Purpose & Scope
The VP, Talent Management Program Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing talent management initiatives that align with Bank OZK's strategic goals. This role drives performance management, employee engagement, talent assessments, and HR data analysis to support organizational growth and workforce excellence. The position serves as a strategic advisor and change agent, shaping the bank's approach to attracting, retaining, engaging and developing top talent.

The position serves as a strategic advisor and change agent, shaping the bank's approach to attracting, retaining, engaging and developing top talent.
Essential Job Functions
- Champion a culture of talent management that meets organizational needs, drives productivity, engages employees and aligns with total rewards strategies.
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of talent management programs and supporting technologies, including the development and maintenance of related training and process documents.
- Utilize data analytics and partner with senior leadership and HR teams to ensure alignment of talent strategies with business objectives.
- Implement and manage talent management tools and training tailored to business unit needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on talent assessments, advising recruiters, hiring managers, and HRBPs.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, pricing, and system performance for third-party talent platforms.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through stakeholder feedback and data analysis; identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development and HR teams to assess skill gaps and training needs.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent management and employee engagement.
- Provide strategic guidance on onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics and employee feedback to inform data-driven decisions and optimize processes.
- Support organizational change initiatives by collaborating with change management teams to secure leadership buy-in and drive adoption.

- Comprehensive knowledge of talent management and organizational development principles and practices
- Knowledge of talent assessment tools and methodologies

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and management, including presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective and professional work relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate effective strategic, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret data analytics, HR metrics and survey data and translate into actionable plans
- Ability to demonstrate effective project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and be proactive in accomplishing work tasks and objectives
- Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and ability to execute
- Ability to produce accurate, thorough, and timely work, while meeting commitments and following policies and procedures
- Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, I/O psychology, business administration or related field, or commensurate work experience, required; master's degree preferred
- 5+ years' experience designing and implementing talent management programs required
- 3+ years' experience using talent assessment tools for hiring and development required
